Cliff Shitote

Cliff is the manager of AquaBloom Ventures, a fish farm specialising in the production of Nile tilapia and catfish.  

He recently started a vermiculture venture where he produce red wigglers (Eisenia fetida) as a fish feed supplement and for composting manure. Cliff is an active member of farmer youth groups, attending various trainings and workshops such as the International Young Farmers Exchange Programme in Germany to improve his skills and collaborate with his peers, all in service of elevating the aquaculture sector in Kenya and beyond. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Education and Extension from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) in Kenya.
