Epiphanie Karekezi

Epiphanie is an Access to Nutritious Foods Fellow and a business development specialist with experience leading farm input distribution and post-harvest loss reduction programmes, organising policy events, establishing market linkages, and building trade systems both in the public and private sectors.

She is currently consulting for agribusinesses. She has previously worked for the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources of Rwanda, where she oversaw a fertiliser subsidy programme, and the Eastern Africa Grain Council, a regional organisation focusing on structuring grain trade in eastern and southern countries of Africa. Her achievements include organizing the 5 th African Grain Trade that was held in Kigali, working on the feasibility study of a warehouse receipt system in Rwanda for CNFA/Hinga Weze, a USAID/Feed the Future project, and leading a project on combating aflatoxin prevalence in the maize value chain funded by the Alliance for Green Revolution in Africa. She holds an MSc from Kigali Institute of Science and Technology and a and BSc in Computer Science from National University of Rwanda.
