Jean Bosco Shingiro

Jean Bosco is an Associate Research Fellow with many years of experience in agricultural research and extension, specifically in crop postharvest handling, storage and processing; nutrition, food quality and safety.

He works in the area of bridging research to extension, he has been involved in knowledge sharing and dissemination of research results through training and coaching of farmers and food processors. He works to support the farmers to produce, conserve, add value, and market nutritious and safe food.
He holds a Master’s Degree of Science in Food Technology from Wageningen University, and a PhD in food science from Michigan State University.
