Ledama Masidza

Ledama is an environmental programme manager at Oceans Alive Trust

He works with fishermen to provide them with the knowledge and skills to achieve sustainability. He counts among his biggest achievements his contribution to securing user rights for a 12,000ha co-protected marine area. His passion for sustainable marine livelihoods dates back to his childhood where he witnessed the vital need for balance between human livelihoods and nature. He has a degree in Environmental and Geographic Science from the University of Cape Town.
