Marie Fausta Dutuze

Marie Fausta is the coordinator of one health thread at Rwanda Institute for Conservation Agriculture (RICA). She is also RICA faculty senate chair.
She has worked on various research and extension projects related to food safety, environmental health, animal health, and human health.

She has publications on issues of public health concern such as brucellosis, animal welfare, zika virus and rift valley fever virus and other Bunyaviruses.
Previously, Dr. Dutuze has worked for University of Rwanda and Jomo Kenyatta as a lecturer and researcher.
She holds a PhD from Louisiana State University (USA), a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and a Master’s Degree in public health, both from the Inter-State School of Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Dakar, Senegal.
