What I do
I am a partnerships and grants manager at the IKEA Foundation working on food systems transformation based on regenerative, circular, and inclusive principles and outcomes.
My predictions about the future of food in 100 years
In 100 years our healthy diets will be much more in harmony with what nature provides us with. Food will travel less and be less processed. Forgotten foods will no longer be forgotten but appreciated and consumers and producers will be in much closer contact with what we eat.
What I like about the African Food Fellowship
It is a home-grown initiative that listens to the needs of young African professionals who want to further their careers. It focuses on the food system; a key livelihood, income, and jobs provider on the African continent, as well as the key to finding solutions to the climate crisis. It is investing in young career professionals to become stronger leaders in their own communities and building networks of Fellows as a movement for change.
