Robert Shumari Nkoirishishe

Robert is a Fisheries Officer in Kajiado County, Kenya.

In this role he has led initiatives resulting in farmers adopting sustainable aquaculture practices and achieving improved food security and nutrition and coordinated workshops on climate-resilient aquaculture, educating local farmers on adapting to climate change challenges. Recognised by the Kajiado County Government for outstanding contributions to agricultural development and food security and receiving the “Environmental Champion” award for promoting sustainable fishing practices and environmental conservation, has spurred him to foster sustainable and innovative solutions to food security challenges. Robert studied Natural Resource Management and Social Sciences at the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
