Sheila Wainaina

Sheila is an agricultural engineer with the county government of Nakuru where she is working to enhance food security and sustainability. Working with farmers and local communities, she implemented innovative agricultural practices, including the design and construction of soil and water conservation structures such as water pans, conservation tillage practices, and agricultural produce cold storage infrastructure. This has led to increased crop yields and a marked reduction in resource usage.

Sheila holds a BSc in Biosystems Engineering from the University of Nairobi.
