Thacien Munyamahame

Thacien is a Sustainable Land Use Fellow and development communication specialist with experience inspiring young people to embrace sustainable agriculture and become change-makers in the agri-foods sector. An agronomist, he has worked on projects coordinating training and coaching programmes for farmer oganisations, facilitating stakeholder engagement and building networks. As the country manager of the YALTA Initiative in Rwanda (Youth in Agroecology Business Learning Track in Africa), he manages programmes that support young agripreneurs to apply agroeconological principles and embrace co- creation in their businesses. He holds a BSc. in Agriculture from the National University of Rwanda.
